International Traditional and Swing Jazz Festival
Since 2000 up to now 321 musicians on stage!
The History started in 2000 when the 1st Rimini Dixieland Jazz Band organized a jazz-concert at the end of the summer-season. The concert has been a surprising success of the band, which since years have had a view to promote and encourage the “traditional styles of jazz”, which stay at the beginning of any other existing style of jazz. That event is now considered the establishment of the series of concerts and festivals taking place every year in June and naturally the beginning of the club "Amici del Jazz”. This association has the target to encourage the New Orleans and Traditional style of jazz in Rimini and the surrounding area with the help of the yearly „International Traditional and Swing Jazz Festival ” The really positive result is that fans and connoisseurs do not miss anymore this great entertainment.
In the meantime many of the finest bands (68) and musicians (321) have taken part. The list of participants in this website is a witness of their professional competence and the expression of the deep thanks to all of them to have been our guests.
